Fusion Fitness

Nia blends the precision, power and grace of Martial Arts (Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi); the self-expression, fun and playfulness of the Dance Arts (Jazz, Modern and Duncan Dance); as well as the body awareness of mindful movement (Alexander Technique, Yoga, Feldenkrais).

Body Conditioning

A bare-foot cardio dance letting you feel more alive in your body. Nia will pump your heart, lubricate your joints, release tension, enhance your balance, and tone your muscles with creative movement.

Self-Expression

Free-form movement is balanced with user-friendly choreography to bring the body, mind, emotions and spirit to optimum health. Music and movements are rich in variety and integrates play and sensory awareness. Nia uses the pleasure principle to seek comfort and ease in order to move, strengthen and heal the body in a natural, organic way.

Your Body’s Way

Nia emphasises internally directed guidance. Each person learns in their own unique way. You find the way of doing the move that feels comfortable and gives you a sensation of pleasure. This means that anybody can comfortably join in any class. Listen to your body. Make your own movement choices. Adaptable to every level of fitness.
